Tord Boontje

Founded in 1996, the goal of Studio Tord Boontje is the delicate marriage of design and emotion, design that is as broadly accessible as it is enticing. Often tempering angularity with softness, they search for inspiration in nature, using forms and layers to engage and entice an observer's imagination and emotions. The work carried out at the Studio arises from a belief that modernism does not mean minimalism, that contemporary does not forsake tradition, and that technology does not abandon people and the senses.

Studio Tord Boontje has developed a wide range of products and furniture pieces over the years for brands such as Alexander McQueen, Moroso, Habitat, Artecnica, Swarovski, Kvadrat, Perrier-Jouet, and Shiseido, among others, Studio Tord Boontje has also garnered numerous awards.
