Euroluce 2017:
Salone del Mobile

This week, thousands of designers, builders, artists and lighting aficionados flocked to Milan for Salone del Mobile and Euroluce, the largest lighting and furniture tradeshow in the world. Visitors explored row after row of big name brands, boutique up-and-comers and everything in between.

From enormous interactive lighting experiences to colorful LEDs and groundbreaking touchscreen controls, visitors were invited to play, photograph and explore booths, rooms, art installations and beyond, all with one goal in mind: Evolve lighting as we know it.

FLOS launched exciting and strikingly contemporary collaborations with Michael Anastassiades and Philippe Starck, among others. From light-lined mirrors to intertwined rings, their booth was a buzz all week.

Slamp exhibited select designs from around the world, Fontana Arte showed off stunning new geometric forms, Foscarini bent light in brilliant new ways and Contardi’s pocket-watched inspired pendants seemingly stopped time.

Mid-century orbs, crystal shards, minimalist lines and wire outlines drove new trends, while Edison bulbs and copper remained a hit from years past. So many things to see in so few days. We'll let the photos do the talking… Ciao!
