San Francisco, California
When you walk into Noomoon, the second-hand children's clothing store from Domino editor and contributor Angela Tafoya, the delightful design will have you feeling like a child again.
This was Tafoya's intention with the design - to see the space as a child would. She collaborated with San Francisco-based interior stylist Rosy Fridman to create this oversized, almost Surrealist look.
The blown-up grid Tafoya and graphic designer husband Eric Bailey painted on the ceiling, floor and counter is reminiscent of being inside an old-school video game - or maybe a box of wrapping paper. Puffy round clothing rack dividers and extra-large pillow letters by soft sculpture artist Elena Stonaker complete the effect. The perfect finishing touch: the Entler One Globe Table Lamp.
