About Michael Wolk
Michael Wolk's design career began as a student at Pratt Institute when John Lennon's business manager approached him to design Joko Recording Studio in New York City. Upon completion of the project and graduation from Pratt, Wolk moved to Miami where he built a showroom to showcase his first furniture collection. Two years later, he partnered with two designers to form Miami's first full-service design firm, with clients such as Sony and Burger King.
In 1984, Wolk created his eponymous studio Wolk Design, where he has provided interior and furniture designs for projects around the world. His designs are marked by their neo-modernist style, which blends cutting-edge American modernism with the elegance of classic European design. Throughout his decades-long career, Wolk has embraced new technologies and processes to adapt to the demands of a rapidly changing landscape.
